Engineered as one system, not assembled parts
Designed to be plug-and-play as a COTS system | Available in bespoke configurations
Every Aliena propulsion system is architected as an integrated solution. Customers can choose from Aliena-developed subsystems or legacy components, combining the best of both in a plug-and-play propulsion system tailored to their mission.
Our growing portfolio of proprietary subsystems integrates seamlessly with flight-proven heritage components, giving customers the flexibility to configure the right solution for every mission.

Hall thrusters - Our basis
Turning electricity into propulsion
A Hall thruster is an electric propulsion system that accelerates ions to extremely high speeds using electric fields. Instead of producing short burst of high force like a chemical rocket, it generates a gentle but continuous thrust, that can operate for months or even years.
Although the thrust is small, the exhaust leaves the engine at speeds many times faster than conventional rockets, making Hall thrusters one of the most fuel efficient propulsion technologies ever developed for spacecraft.

At Aliena, Hall thrusters are our bread and butter. Our team consolidates expertise from various international developmental programs, and channels experience into a range of effective products for the market
