Aliena owns and operates a state-of-the-art Advanced Jet Propulsion Test and Production Facility. Spanning over 4,000 sqft of working space for test and production, the facility includes multiple space environment simulation chambers, a thermal vacuum chamber, clean room spaces, and workshops. 

The integrated facility enables Aliena to conduct next-generation R&D while producing propulsion systems at scale. With on-site assembly, qualification and testing capabilities, we can efficiently develop, validate, and deliver high-performance thrusters for a wide range of missions.

Diagnostics and supporting equipment

Supporting R&D, production, integration, and launch complex operations

Propellant loading carts designed for international shipping to test sites, integration facilities, and various launch complexes. 

High resolution thrust balances for system performance and characterization with a resolution of up to 5 micro-Newtons.

Mechanical workshop equipped for minor parts fabrication and rectification. Electronics laboratory supports electronic board design, integration and testing. 

 

Plasma probes for plume characterization and diagnostics. Array of high-vacuum positioning stages. Faraday cups, retarding potential analyzers and Langmuir probe systems to support plasma characterization campaigns.

 

Flow calibrators support the development and calibration of our propellant management subsystems.

 

CAD and simulation software covering plasma physics, computational fluid dynamics, mechanical, thermal, magnetic, and electrostatic modeling.

Purpose build for innovation, qualification and production

AJPTPF is SEA's first integrated facility dedicated to the development, testing and production of Hall effect electric propulsion systems. Combining advanced vacuum testing infrastructure with in-house integration capabilities, the facility enables Aliena to rapidly design, prototype, qualify, and deliver flight-ready propulsion systems under one roof.
