Our
Vision

We are ALIENA.

We impact lives on Earth by bringing space closer to home. We develop low power engines that enable satellites to fly closer to Earth, and, in so doing, allow for impactful datasets to be provided to various market segments such as banking & finance, maritime, aviation, agriculture, energy, security, and defence.

We aim to be a reliable global provider of propulsion systems and grow into a prominent service business that grants access to space to terrestrial businesses through in-house developed and owned assets in very low Earth orbits, allowing for them to notably impact our daily lives.

What
We Do

WhatsApp Image 2020-11-06 at 21.58.03.jpeg

ALIENA's suite of robust propulsion systems facilitates low cost access to any orbits of interest enhancing the value of our customers missions.

At our privately owned Jet Propulsion Test Facility (JPTF), we develop turnkey plasma propulsion solutions in the range of 10's to 100's of watts, providing thrust capabilities from micro to milli Newtons for small satellites.

We achieve this with novel and innovative designs of our systems based on mature Hall thruster technology. Hall thrusters have extensive flight heritage being the prime choice for high-value missions and large satellite constellations.

Our products meet the most stringent and demanding conditions of our customers through a modular approach that allows for them to be compact, scalable, and plug-and-play.

We see our products as technological enablers that will equip us towards capturing a new market as satellite-acquired data service providers from very low Earth orbits.

Large Space Environment Simulator 1.jpg

ALIENA owns the first commercial Jet Propulsion Test Facility in Singapore comprising of an array of space environment simulators of various sizes, complemented with advanced plasma diagnostic tools and thrust measurement systems.

Our vacuum facilities are used for a variety of experimental campaigns spanning from early-phase R&D, qualification, and lifetime tests.

Our clean room is specifically designed for assembly and integration of small satellite platforms.

The facility is also equipped with a mechanical engineering workshop for rapid prototyping and manufacturing of our products and has the capacity to fill high pressure propellant storage tanks.
